Ever Be Enough (Free Download)

Had the idea for this song on the way home from school (I’m a teacher) On the last day of school (before the lockdown took place.) I was driving home and the whole melody and lyrics hit me. In fact I pulled over and recorded myself singing into my phone before I even got home.

At the time I wasn’t sure how good the song was but made my way out to my studio and hit the record button. Starting with a chorus was something I had been playing around with, and for this song it just felt right Once the harmonies were in the song took on it’s own life. I recorded all my parts in about 30 min, including 5 guitar parts and 3 vocal parts. IT WAS CRAZY !!! After that I came in to show my wife and email it to some friends, thinking this might be the best song I have ever written. One of my good friends got back to me quickly saying he like the song but thought he would like to have a go at remixing it. From there the rest is history! Alister George and Mark Churcher played on the track and Al also did the mixing.

So too sum it up this song was recorded without ever meeting to discuss or play the song in person. Not a bad effort I think
