Welcome to the home of Nick Burson Music

So who I am I ?

I am a 30 something year old Guitarist, Singer/songwriter, Sax player living in Christchurch New Zealand. I currently play semi professionally with a band (Ctrl Alt Rock) but have spend years of my life living off my guitar.

I finished my Degree in performance music in 2009 and Have been playing music in bands since I was 15. This website was designed by me as an avenue to promote all my musical whims. At this stage mostly YouTube and things related to gear reviews.

Beside being passionate about playing music, I am also passionate about guitar as an instrument and everything that is needed to play guitar.

I have owned over 25 guitars a lot of which have been very high quality. (Fender, Gibson, Charvel, PRS, G&L, Heritage, Martin, Maton. Just to name a few) At this point in time My main gigging Axe is a G&L Asat but I feel the Strat is calling and I wouldn’t be surprised if in the near future I change my live guitar rig and build my sounds around the Strat. Which I’m sure if your reading this you will eventually find out.
